Adopt Auction 26: CLOSED by Rehmiel Adopt Auction 26: CLOSED by Rehmiel
Also had this one sitting in my sketchbook :iconlazycryplz: ends in 72 hours

Upon purchase I will send you a bigger version without the watermark, but the character and design will become under your copyrights. After making your adoption you are free to make any changes with the character as needed. If you wish to give them your own clothes or change their gender, etc, you are free to do so.

Things you cannot do however are:
-Resell the Adoptable
-Claim that the character was drawn/designed by yourself and not a third party

Payments will be made via Paypal. No holding or reserves please. Please do not bid if you are unsure that you will be able to pay for the adopt at the end of the auction.

Starting Bid: $10

Current Bid: N/A

Autobuy Price: $55

EDIT: Adopted by :iconpieology:--> now belongs to :iconcountesslainy:

I'm curious why reselling isn't allowed. Obviously reselling for a profit is bad, but in a few months/years if the owner realized they didn't have a use for the adopt anymore, why would you be against them reselling for a lower price?

I just don't like the idea of reselling them, because that itself is difficult to properly control under third parties in terms of price ranges and copyrights outside of the original sale, and the thought of passing ownership to one person to another through money kind of wears them down to mere monetary objects when surely people who originally bought them had done something with them. Even if a customer loses interest in their adopt, they are easily still able to trade it for something else with other adoptable holders. I've yet had anyone who had the intention of reselling my designs, but if they needed it for some kind of urgent reasons they could just negotiate with me. If anything, this is just my personal preference because I can keep track of trades much better than resells :) I think when someone buys my stuff, they are already making a big commitment if they've already seen my regulations and what-not. It's really been the same for a while now, so I don't really find it a problem?
